What setting / scene should I use for my Nikon Coolpix s560 at the concert?
I just bought a Nikon Coolpix s560 I'm going to a concert tomorrow and I want pictures out good, I had trouble with the past in concert camera because I'm not sure what scenes to use and they do not come out well. to the scene menu to choose from: Portrait Scenery Sports Night Portrait Party / Indoor Beach / Snow Dusk / Dawn Night Landscape Close up Museum Fireworks Show Copy Backlight Panorama Assist people know which to I use? There is also the Scene Auto Selector .. should I stick with that list? or select one from me? I saw my favorite band Depeche Mode at Madison Square Garden, I will glad if someone could help me out so that these images can come out clear and beautiful! thank you
Ok .. I'll assume you KNOW that you can take photos in there. If not and you get caught trying, you may just have your camera confiscated. Ideally, you should have enough knowledge about photography to never have to rely on the shooting mode. NO professional photographers use such nonsense, and in fact, there is no pro cameras even have things like photography. But, I will not try to teach you here and now. From the list of scene Modes, you must choose MUSEUM. This will turn OFF the flash and will try to set the ISO and shutter speed to hold hands in dark conditions. Your photos will likely have a lot of digital noise in it, but if all you ever going to do is rely on the preset, then you ever will have anything but typical, mediocre, amateur photo. Even using the best camera as possible, you may not have a picture that comes out "obviously and beautiful ". The camera is simply not capable of that kind result in a condition. You need to type SLR camera with a fast lens and a much better high ISO performance to get concert photos well you good. good luck to though! Depeche Mode is also one of my favorite! Steve
